Irrigation services for your project

Irrigation design, equipment supply, installation, testing, commissioning and ongoing support for commercial landscapes, sports turf and residential gardens. We can undertake a defined scope or bring these services together as an irrigation package.

Choose the scope you need

The required service depends on the project stage and what has already been designed or installed. We agree the scope, deliverables and responsibilities before work begins.

Design and specification

We develop irrigation layouts and specifications around the planting, site conditions and available water supply. Equipment schedules and installation notes give the project team a clear basis for coordination, pricing and delivery.

  • Irrigation layouts and watering zones
  • Equipment selection and schedules
  • Pipework, valves and control arrangements
  • Design assumptions, limitations and installation notes

Design can be commissioned separately or as part of a wider supply and installation scope.

Equipment supply

We supply irrigation equipment against an agreed design or equipment schedule. Where an alternative is needed, we review its suitability for the system and identify any implications for the project team.

  • Dripline, tree irrigation and sprinklers
  • Pipework, fittings and valve assemblies
  • Controllers and associated components
  • Pumps, tanks and filtration where required

Supply can form part of our installation package or a separately agreed service.

Installation

We install irrigation systems in coordination with the landscape and construction works. This includes agreeing pipe routes, equipment locations, access and the interfaces with other trades.

  • Mainline and distribution pipework
  • Dripline, tree emitters and sprinklers
  • Valves, chambers and control systems
  • Irrigation plant and associated connections within the agreed scope

Testing and commissioning

We test the installed irrigation system and check the operation of its watering zones, valves and controls. Commissioning establishes the initial operating settings and records the checks carried out.

  • Pipework testing
  • Zone and valve operation checks
  • Pressure and flow checks relevant to the system
  • Controller programming and commissioning records

Commissioning is coordinated with the availability of water, power and any other services required for operation.

Handover documentation

Clear documentation helps the client or maintenance team understand what has been installed and how to operate it. We prepare the agreed handover information to suit the project’s requirements.

  • Operation and maintenance manuals
  • Equipment information and manufacturer literature
  • Commissioning records and operating settings
  • Record drawings where included in the scope

Technical submittals can also support equipment review and approval during the project.

Maintenance and support

We assess and support existing irrigation systems, including systems installed by others. Work can include fault finding, repairs, servicing and adjustments to controls or watering arrangements.

  • System inspections and fault finding
  • Pipework, valve and emitter repairs
  • Servicing and controller adjustments
  • Assessment of proposed changes or upgrades

We review the system and agree the work required before recommending a maintenance or repair scope.

Making irrigation work with the wider project

Irrigation needs to fit alongside planting, building services and construction sequencing. We work with main contractors, landscape contractors, landscape architects, designers and other project team members to establish the relevant interfaces.

Drawings and equipment

Layouts, equipment schedules and technical submittals help the team review the proposed system and coordinate it with the landscape and building information.

Access and services

Pipe routes, valve locations, maintenance access, water supplies and electrical interfaces need clear responsibilities. We agree these requirements with the project team.

Installation and handover

Installation sequencing, testing and documentation need to align with the project programme. We identify the information and services needed to complete the agreed scope.

Equipment selected for the application

Our work includes dripline and tree irrigation, sprinklers, valve assemblies, conventional and two-wire controls, pumps, tanks and filtration. The arrangement depends on the landscape, water supply and operating requirements.

We regularly work with equipment from Rain Bird and Hunter, with other manufacturers selected according to project requirements. Equipment selection considers compatibility, access for maintenance and the needs of the installation.

Planning your irrigation scope

Yes. We can provide a design-only scope, with the drawings, specification and equipment information agreed for the project. We identify relevant assumptions and limitations so the information can be used appropriately.

We can review an existing design or specification to establish a supply or installation scope. Any missing information, coordination requirements or proposed changes need to be resolved with the project team.

The project location, required service and current project stage are a useful starting point. Landscape drawings, planting information, an irrigation specification or an equipment schedule help us understand the work. For existing systems, photographs and a description of the issue are useful.

Yes. We can assess an existing system and advise on the work required. The scope depends on its condition, equipment, access and any available drawings or operating information.

Cost and programme depend on the agreed scope, site conditions, access, equipment and coordination requirements. We review the available information and identify any further details needed to prepare a quotation.

Discuss the scope you need

Tell us where the project is, what stage it has reached and whether you need design, supply, installation or support for an existing system.

If drawings, a specification or an equipment schedule are available, let us know so we can agree how to share them.
