Irrigation maintenance and support

Dripmatic maintains and supports existing irrigation systems, including systems installed by others. We help identify faults, carry out repairs and review equipment and operating settings.

Our work covers commercial landscapes, roof terraces, podiums, planters and trees, alongside sports turf and residential gardens. The service scope is agreed around the system and the work required.

Support for your existing system

Inspections and servicing

Checks can cover pipework, dripline, sprinklers, valve assemblies, controls and associated irrigation plant. We review the relevant equipment and identify servicing needs, defects or further investigation required.

Fault finding and repairs

Leaks, damaged watering equipment, valves that do not operate and control faults can interrupt irrigation. We investigate the reported problem and establish the repair work and replacement parts required.

Controller settings

Watering schedules need review as planting establishes and conditions change. We can check zone operation and review controller programmes against the areas being watered and the available system information.

Changes and upgrades

Changes to planting or the landscape may require adjustments to the irrigation system. We can assess the existing arrangement and identify the design, equipment and installation work needed for a proposed change.

Establishing what is installed

Understanding the existing system helps define useful maintenance and repair work. Drawings, equipment details and previous service records provide a starting point.

Where records are incomplete, the extent of inspection and investigation is agreed. We identify what can be established from the available information and what needs further checking.

For systems installed by others, tell us what you know about the equipment, its operation and any previous work. Existing documentation is helpful, but an enquiry can start with a description of the system and the problem.

A clear scope for maintenance and repairs

  1. Describe the requirement

Tell us whether you need an inspection, servicing, help with a fault or advice on a proposed change. Include the site location and any relevant access arrangements.

  2. Establish the work required

We review the available information and identify whether further details or a site visit are needed. The extent of inspection, testing and any repair work is agreed for the system.

  3. Agree repairs and further work

Where investigation identifies replacement parts or additional work, we explain the requirement so the next steps can be agreed.

Maintenance requirements vary with the equipment, condition of the system and site. The service scope, any visit frequency and pricing are agreed for the work required.

When the landscape or irrigation scope changes

New planting, altered planter layouts or additional watering areas can affect the existing irrigation arrangement. Reviewing the changes before installation helps establish whether the pipework, zones, controls and water supply are suitable.

Tell us about your irrigation system

Describe the system, the site and the work you need. For a fault, tell us what happens, which areas are affected and when you first noticed the problem.

Useful information includes:

  • Site location and type of landscape.
  • The required service or a description of the fault.
  • Controller make and model, if known.
  • Any available drawings, equipment details or service records.
  • Relevant access arrangements and preferred timing.

If you have photographs or documents, let us know and we can agree how to share them. You do not need every detail before making an enquiry.
